1 liter full-fat milk
½ cup sweetened condensed milk
¼ cup sugar
¼ cup vermicelli
6-8 Oreo cookies
¼ teaspoon cardamom powder
1 tablespoon ghee
Chopped cashews & almonds
Dark chocolate shavings or cocoa powder
Heat ghee and roast vermicelli until golden brown. Pour milk in and let simmer until vermicelli softens.
Add condensed milk and sugar and stir until well combined.
Crush 4 Oreo cookies and stir into the payasam. Let simmer for 5 minutes to let Oreo blend into creamy base.
Stir in cardamom powder. Garnish with crushed Oreos, chopped nuts, and chocolate shavings. Serve warm.
