Coconut Layer Cakes: A Celebration Showstopper

Ingredients

1 ½ cups (190 g) all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
½ cup (115 g) unsalted butter, softened
1 cup (200 g) sugar
3 large eggs
1 cup (240 ml) coconut milk

Prepare

Preheat the oven to 175°C. Grease and line two cake pans of 8-inch.

Make Batter

Whisk flour, baking powder, and baking soda in a bowl. Take a different bowl and beat butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time into butter mixture with coconut milk.

Combine Wet and Dry

Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture and combine well.

Bake

Divide batter into cake pans and bake for 30 minutes. Once baked, let cool completely.
