By Yash Lakhan

Ingredients

2 cups besan (gram flour)
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup ghee
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
Chopped pistachios or almonds for garnish

Heat The Ghee

In a skillet with heated ghee, roast the besan over low heat until it becomes fragrant and brown, about 10 to 12 minutes.

Prepare Syrup

To prepare a syrup with the consistency of one string, dissolve the sugar in 1/4 cup of water in a different pan.

Mix Syrup And Mixture

When the mixture thickens and begins to pull away from the pan's sides, add the syrup to the roasted besan and stir thoroughly.

Add Flavorings And Serve

Add the cardamom powder and evenly distribute the mixture onto a dish that has been oiled. After allowing it to cool, cut it into squares and top with chopped nuts.
