Banarasi Mawa Kachori Recipe To Impress Your Guests At Any Celebration

Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup khoya (mawa)
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
2 tbsp chopped nuts (almonds, pistachios)
Oil for frying
1 cup sugar (for syrup)
1/2 cup water (for syrup)

Prepare Dough

Mix water into flour to form a soft dough
then put aside.

Prepare Filling

To prepare the filling
combine nuts
cardamom
powdered sugarand khoya.
Form dough into little discs
top with filling
and tightly seal.

Deep-Fry And Make Sugar Syrup

Deep-fry till crisp and brown.
Boil sugar and water to make a somewhat thick syrup
then dip the fried kachoris into it.

Serve

Before serving
let them soak for a few minutes.
