Banana Prasad Recipe For Navratri: Quick And Delicious Options

Ingredients

1/2 cup sooji
1 ripe banana, mashed
1/4 cup ghee
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
2 tbsp chopped nuts

Roast Sooji

Heat ghee and add sooji.
Roast it slowly for 5-7 minutes until aromatic and golden brown.
Set aside.

Prepare Banana

Peel and mash the bananas in a bowl.

Add Banana to Sooji

Mix mashed bananas and sooji in the pan
combine well
and saute for 2 minutes to blend the flavors.

Add Water

Pour boiling water slowly into the sooji-banana mixture while stirring continuously.
Cook until sooji absorbs water and thickens.

Add Sugar

Add sugar and cardamom powder.
Mix well until sugar dissolves.

Add Nuts and Serve

Stir in chopped nuts and turn off the heat.
Serve the halwa as Prasad and garnish it with extra nuts.
