Apple Crumb Cake With Pecans And Crispello Pieces: A Crunchy, Sweet Indulgence

Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour
½ cup brown sugar
½ tsp baking powder
2 eggs
½ cup oil or melted butter
2 medium apples, peeled and diced
2 Cadbury Crispello bars
⅓ cup chopped pecans

Prepare

Preheat your oven to 175°C for even baking and grease a small cake pan of the shape of your choice.

Make Batter

Combine flour, ¼ cup brown sugar, and baking powder. Whisk in eggs and oil. Stir until smooth.

Add Mix-ins

Now once the batter is prepared, fold in dices apples and 1 chopped Crispello bar. Pour the batter into prepared pan and spread evenly.

Make Crumb Topping

Mix the remaining brown sugar with pecans and chopped Crispello bar. Sprinkle it over the batter.

Bake and Serve

Bake for 45 minutes and check the doneness with a toothpick. Serve it warm with maple syrup drizzle.
