5 Tricks to Master Dry Fruit No Bake Dessert with Silk Layers

By Deepali Verma

Select Fresh Dry Fruits

Pick soft, fresh dry fruits every time for the perfect taste. Stale or hard ones will ruin the soft, creamy layers.

Soak for Perfect Softness

Soak almonds, cashews, and figs in warm milk for 15 minutes. It adds richness and enables them to be blended to perfection into the base.

Layer Neatly

Layer a dry fruit layer first in a thin layer, then a creamy, silky layer. Do it again for neat and even slices while serving.

Chill between layers

Let each layer of spread chill in the refrigerator for 10 minutes. It will allow the dessert to retain shape and prevent messy, overlapping layers.

Top with a Glossy Finish

Gently brush the top silk layer with a small amount of warm milk or cream before finally chilling. It adds a natural sheen without additional sweetness.
