Frequently Asked Questions

Has the recipe changed for India?

No. Biscoff in India uses the original recipe from Lotus Bakeries and follows the same global quality checks.

Why do the ingredients look different on the pack?

Indian labels follow Indian food regulations, so some of the ingredient names may appear differently on the label (e.g., wheat flour globally refers to the same ingredient mentioned on the label as refined wheat flour in India). The ingredients are the same as those used by Biscoff worldwide and meet the same global standards set by Lotus Bakeries.

Why does the cookie say “Biscoff” instead of “Lotus”?

This is just to build the Biscoff brand name in India. It is a branding choice and has no impact on taste or texture.

Why is the cookie smaller in India?

India uses one of Biscoff’s smaller global sizes – 6.25 g – so it works as the perfect snackable treat with your chai or coffee.

How did the price drop so much?

Earlier, imported packs included import duties and global shipping, so they cost more. Now, local manufacturing removes those extra costs while keeping the same quality.

What is the price of Biscoff packs in India?

Biscoff cookies are available in 4 pack sizes: 25g – Rs 10, 75g – Rs 30, 150g – Rs 80 and 225g – Rs 110
