Step 1: Ingredients and tools

Everything you need:

  • Fresh strawberries (preferably firm and ripe, with the green tops intact)
  • Good quality chocolate (dark, milk, or white chocolate, or a combination, depending on your preference)
  • Shelled pistachios, finely chopped
  • Parchment paper or a silicone baking mat
  • Microwave-safe bowls or a double boiler
  • Spoons and a small spatula (for handling the chocolate)
  • Toothpicks (optional, for easier dipping)

Tips:

  • Choose strawberries that are completely dry. Any moisture can cause the chocolate to seize or slide off.

Step 2: Pistachios
