Follow the recipe below to make eggless Dairy Milk Oreo mug cake in just a few simple steps.

Simple Recipe For Eggless Dairy Milk Oreo Mug Cake:

Ingredients:

  • 4 Oreo cookies (crushed)
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour (maida)
  • 1½ tbsp sugar (adjust to taste)
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder (optional, for extra richness)
  • 4 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil (or melted butter)
  • 2–3 pieces of Dairy Milk chocolate
  • A pinch of salt
  • Splash of vanilla essence

Method:

Step 1: Crush the Oreos

Crush the Oreo cookies by placing them in a ziplock bag and crush it with the help of a rolling pin. Crush the cookies until they resemble coarse crumbs like sand. If you like a few chunks of Oreo cookies, don’t crumble the cookies entirely or if you want the crumb to be even, crumble it thoroughly.

Step 2: Mix Dry Ingredients

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and cocoa powder in a mug then add a pinch of salt and mix well. The mug should be a regular coffee mug in which you can create the cake equal to a pastry serving. Make sure the mug you are using is microwave safe.

Step 3: Add Wet Ingredients

Now pour in the milk and oil. Mix well and add vanilla essence. Stir until the ingredients are combined homogeneously to make a smooth batter.

Step 4: Fold in Dairy Milk

Add in the chopped chunks of Dairy Milk chocolate and fold gently with a spoon. Avoid overmixing and stir only until the chocolate pieces are evenly distributed. You can also add chocolate chips if you want more of the chocolatey flavor.

Step 5: Bake in Microwave

When you use a microwave, you don’t need to preheat it. Put the mug in a microwave, turn it on high power and bake for 1 to 1.5 minutes. The cake will rise and appear set on top but still remain moist from the core. Make sure to not overcook the cake and take it out as soon as you see the top set.

For oven setting, you need to preheat the oven at 180°C (350°F) and bake the cake for 20–25 minutes then check the doneness by inserting a toothpick into the middle of the cake. If the toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs, then the cake is ready.

Step 6: Let it Cool Slightly

Let the mug cake sit for a minute or two before eating. The chocolate chunks inside will still be warm and melty.
